"I'd put my money on the sun and solar energy. What a source of power! I hope we don't have to wait until oil and coal run out before we tackle that."
– Thomas Edison, in conversation with Henry Ford and Harvey Firestone, 1931

Photovoltaic (PV) cells convert sunlight directly into electricity and are typically combined to form modules consisting of 40 - 70 cells, sometimes more. Modules can then be connected together to form a panel (or string) which may consist of only a few modules or even dozens. An inter-tied collection of solar panels form an array specifically designed to produce solar electricity ranging in generation capacity from a few kilowatts to thousands.

OneWorld’s PV systems are custom-designed per individual need. We have grid-tied and battery back-up systems installed throughout the country for both home and business owners.

OW Commericial System

COMMERCIAL PV SYSTEMS

The concept of corporations as wise stewards of the environment has gained acknowledgement over the years.

Progressive companies understand that being a leader in environmental responsibility serves the dual purpose of projecting an excellent corporate image while also improving overall quality of life. By utilizing renewable energy, a company will broaden its appeal to employees, shareholders, and consumers.

Government

INSTITUTIONS

OneWorld partners with many institutions like governmental agencies or utilities to develop unique projects that not only support sustainability but also create educational opportunities for the general public and/or customers.

Residential PV

RESIDENTIAL PV SYSTEMS

Homeowners choose solar for a variety of reasons - environmental, social, and financial.

Solar energy is clean. To produce electricity, the only fuel a homeowner needs is sunshine. With a constant supply of fuel, solar PV modules will produce energy for 40 years or longer. Solar energy systems can be designed to fit any budget or electrical need and require only periodic inspection and occasional maintenance.
